Wyrmtongue Petals

The assassins, and many Drows, favorite natural ingredient. These jagged red petals can be found growing on Wyrmtongue flowers in almost every terrain. It’s almost as if the world itself is trying to test humanity by letting these flowers grow everywhere. These petals are used as a base for toxins that can offer extremely powerful damage. For this reason, Wyrmtongue is highly illegal, and in many cases punishes owners of this flower with death.

Quicksilver Lichen.

This silver and grey silky moss can be found growing amongst almost any substance as it seems to ignore environmental standards. Assassins have been able to use this lichen to quickly administer their toxins into the target’s system without any drawbacks. However, this takes some preparation and is often forgotten by common folk.

Amanita Cap

This large mushroom is often found growing in clusters near bodies of water, or around other damp terrain. It has a bold blue stem accompanied by a large red cap, which makes this fungi extremely easy to identify. Professional herbalists often cut the head from the root, as the mushroom has the rare ability to re-grow its cap within a few short weeks.

Bloodgrass

The most boring, common plant life found in the wild is this dark brown grass. It has absolutely no remarkable qualities, other than being relatively harmless, and its use as basic sustenance when properly prepared. Herbalists do not find this grass very unique, but still tend to collect it as it occupies almost a little space in their packs.

Pipeweed

A common plant which grows as a wild plant, appreciated primarily for its sweet-scented flowers.

Moon Sugar 

It is a grainy powder of small white crystals refined from cane grasses of coasts and estuaries. Used as a spice and is also a potent narcotic.

Opium Poppy

It is an annual herb growing to about 100 cm. All parts of the plant are strongly glaucous, giving a greyish-green appearance, and the stem and leaves are sparsely covered with coarse hairs. All parts of the plant exude white latex when wounded. 

Caapi

It is a liana. It is used to prepare ayahuasca, a decoction with a long history of entheogenic uses as a medicine with psychoactive compound.

Psychotria

It is a perennial shrub and contains the hallucinogenic DMT. It is known primarily as an additive to the ayahuasca brew.

Scarlet Heart Mushroom

It is a large black mushroom that was covered with heart-shaped red spots. When a living creature approached, its heat caused the mushroom's red spots to burst, giving off a cloud of spores that caused blindness.

Aloe

The leaf of Aloe applied to a wound, will double the natural healing rate of burns and
minor cuts.

Blackroot

A tall plant with small, bell-shaped violet flowers and complex roots that are black on the
outside and white on the inside. Blackroot's roots can be applied to fresh wounds in order
to promote quick healing (applied immediately, restore 1 HP to character at once).

Elvish Galingale

Its grows to about four feet in height. It has a triangular stem on which
grows a tuft of grass like flowers. The roots are boiled and left to stand for a week and the
resulting decoction is then drunk. This herb increases the flow of blood. This is very useful
when a person is cold. However if a person is bleeding, either internally or externally, or
is wounded it will double the speed of loss of blood. Its effect lasts 1d6+1 hours (5 uses). 

Felmather

The leaves of this plant should be placed under the tongue of a person in a coma. Roll a Medicine test (DC 15). If successful, the person will awake in 1d6 hours. If a roll of 1 is made, the persons mind will be destroyed (5 uses). 

Tamarindes

This herb will quench the thirst. However it does not replace the water in their system. A
person can still die of thirst, they just won’t feel thirsty. Because of this fact, its use can
be dangerous.

Tamariske

This herb will cleanse wounds, removing all infection. It does not cure lost hit points.

Throw-Waxe

This herb will heal any superficial scars in two weeks if applied every day.

Thurl

The clove of Thurl must be brewed for one whole day. When the mixture is drunk it will
restore 1 hp of damage.

Wild Sageroot.

The most common ingredient found among doctors and healer’s equipment would be these light pink roots. They measure about 3 to 5 inches in length and have a smooth, fuzzy texture to them. They are used every day by skilled Alchemists and healers to create concoctions of extraordinary healing power.

Amrans

This common plant is very useful in alchemy. The lilac flowers can be prepared as base into most know potions.

Balm of Gilead

This small tree, the source of the genuine Balm of Gilead around which so many mystical associations have gathered stands from 10 to 12 feet high, with wandlike, spreading branches. The bark is of a rich brown colour, the leaves, trifoliate, are small and scanty, the flowers unisexual small, and reddish in colour, while the seeds are solitary, yellow, and grooved down one side.

Harfy

The resin of this herb must be used to craft a potion to be applied to a bleeding wound.

Periwinkle

The plant is a creeping vine with dark, green shiny leaves and pale blue flowers. The
flours must be used to craft a potion to be applied to a bleeding wound.

Athelas 

It is a healing herb, also known as Kingsfoil

Shepherd`s Purse

This herb rarely grows to a height of more than one and a half feet. It has small greyish
green leaves, growing smaller towards the summit of the plant. It has small four petalled
dirty-white flowers at its peak.

Strawberry

These small red berries grow on very small bushes with pale green rounded leaves. Five
berries should be bound into a bandage, which should then be applied to a lepers sores. If
the application is successful, that sore will deteriorate no further.

Yarrow

The small white flowers of this herb, which cluster at the top of its one to two feet tall
straight stem, should be crushed and applied to wounds. If successfully used it will stop
minor bleeding, and reduce major bleeding to the minor level. A second application can
then be used to stop the minor bleeding.

Wolfsbane

This is a small plant, about 1 foot tall with pale, divided green leaves and hooded yellow
flowers. The stem if rather hairy. The root must be boiled in water and then applied to a
bite from a venomous creature within 5 rounds of the bite. If used successfully, the damage caused by the venom will be reduced by half.

Coffea is flowering plants whose seeds, called coffee beans, are used to make various coffee beverages and products. They are shrubs or small trees.

Golden Rod

The leaves and flowers of Golden Rod, a vigorously growing, upright and long lived herb that produces long stems with crowds of yellow flowers springing out along their lengths.

Sorrel Wood

This is a small perennial herb, with a creeping and scaly-toothed root-stock. The leaves are numerous, and of yellowish-green color. Flowers white, yellowish at the base, and scentless.

It is a wonderfully versatile cereal grain with a rich nutlike flavor

Groundsel

It is a native annual, ephemeral or overwintering weed present on almost all soils and is especially prolific on good land.

Venom from a common serpent. Spend 45 minutes to collect it.
